My parents have always wanted us to explore and see the world. My dad’s family members are the hardcore travelers. They are all over the world, I suppose. I have always admired my grandpa’s love for traveling. I love it when he shares his adventures and stories when he’s overseas. As an aircraft leadman, he had many opportunities to travel around the world. He’s super lucky.

I haven’t had much chance to travel abroad but we’re working on it. For now, I’m enjoying the local travels. After all, the Philippines have many places that are waiting for me to discover! As they say, “Huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan.”

Traveling allows me to see things in a different angle. It is a catalyst for growth and appreciation. It serves as a reminder of how rich and diverse the world is. It’s a way for me to understand that life, despite the chaos and issues, is still beautiful.
